It was such a great experience to see Lourdes, France where the famous apparition of Blessed Mary to the 3 children. When I visited the grotto, everything was so peaceful and holy and only few people were there since it was winter. Such place was like a ghost town during my visit since most of the local were out for vacation. Hence, such experience is unforgettable..

I am Catholic by birth and Catholic by faith. I grew up with the belief that whenever you have the chance to see Europe, you should not miss visit Lourdes in France. With this statement from the elders, I wonder what would Lourdes looks like and why these people around me eagerly want to visit and witness the famous grotto where our Virgin Mary exposed herself several times to the three (3) innocent children.

When I had the chance, I should say it was worth it to finally experience and witness the holy place. It was winter when I visited it and very, very few people where there which like me were tourists. I also had the chance to hear mass, although it was in French which not a single word I understood. Nevertheless, such moment was so important to me and felt so fortunate.

During my stay there, I was freezing to death but I was so fortunate that I met filipino tourists who were so hospitable and offered their hotel rooms for me to rest for few hours before my departure going back to Cannes that same day.

With the above mentioned experience, I should say the the elders are right. Hence, I shall also relay such belief to my future children and my children's children.
